How BiKuBe collects, uses and protects your data during the Narvik/Ballangen delivery pilot.
Account & order details, support messages, worker GPS during active jobs, order event log.
Card numbers or CVV — payments are handled by Stripe. Passwords are stored as hashes only.
Stripe for payments and your assigned worker for delivery. Never sold, never given to advertisers.
GDPR access, correction, deletion and export — handled manually via support during the pilot.

1Who we are

2What data we collect
When you use BiKuBe, we may collect:
- Account information: name, email address, phone number
- Order information: pickup address, drop-off address, item description, access notes
- Payment provider references: Stripe PaymentIntent ID, payment status, authorisation timestamps — not card numbers or CVV
- Support messages: messages sent through the support system for dispute and delivery handling
- Worker location pings: real GPS coordinates submitted voluntarily by assigned workers during active jobs only
- Completion proof: text descriptions submitted by workers after delivery
- Order events: audit log of order status changes and actions
3What we do NOT store
- Card details: credit/debit card numbers, CVV and full card data are handled directly by Stripe. BiKuBe does not receive, store or process card numbers.
- Passwords are stored as hashes only.
4Why we use your data
- To coordinate and complete your delivery request
- To contact you about your quote and order status
- To process payment authorisation and eventual capture via Stripe
- To handle disputes and support requests
- To maintain an audit trail of order actions
5Who we share data with
- Stripe: payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to card data.
- Assigned workers: the assigned worker for your order sees your pickup/drop-off address, contact phone and item description — only for the purpose of completing your delivery.
- We do not sell your data. We do not share data with advertisers.
6Data retention
NEEDS OWNER/LEGAL VERIFY: Specific retention periods must be defined and confirmed with legal/accounting requirements before public launch.
Current pilot position: order and account data is retained for operational and dispute purposes. We do not have an automated deletion schedule in the V1 pilot.
7Your rights
Under GDPR you have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal data.
OWNER TODO: A formal data subject request process has not yet been implemented. To request access to or deletion of your data, contact support@bikube.no. We will handle requests manually during the pilot period.
8Cookies and tracking
BiKuBe uses session cookies for authentication and CSRF protection. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are used in the V1 pilot.
NEEDS VERIFY: Cookie consent banner requirements under Norwegian law must be reviewed.
9Security
BiKuBe uses HTTPS, hashed passwords, CSRF tokens and server-side access controls. Payment authorisation is handled by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.
NEEDS VERIFY: Formal security audit has not been completed. Do not treat this as a security compliance statement.
